It was a pleasure to have been invited on the minimally invasive spine surgery section of the Future leaders of spine surgery course. Not only did we have some excellent facilities on which to hone the skills of a new cohort of surgeons but we also had some excellent case discussions learning from each other by questioning decisions and talking through complex surgery.
